Mehnaz Hussain
Mehnaz studied English Literature in her undergraduate and postgraduate years at Jamia Millia Islamia. She is interested in studying the political economy of violence on projects of nationalism in South Asia with a focus on labour, migration and citizenship. In 2024, she was awarded a full grant to lead to a workshop titled "Reconfiguring Perceptions: Women’s Bodies as Enraged/ing Sites of Resistance" at the 4th Asia Pacific Feminist Forum. Her creative works have been published in several anthologies and magazines. She also loves dreaming of breathing clean air while taking long walks in the ruins of feudal monuments. Moreover, Mehnaz doesn't like writing biographies and has profoundly struggled with this.
